- What's the deal with your name?
It's pronounced phonetically. Say-er Rip-ee.
- Where does that come from?
Sayer is Old English, and means "victory for the masses". Rippey is a mystery.
- So where's "home"?
I was born in Maryland, but grew up in Guinea, Morocco, and Uganda, and moved to Portland, Oregon in 10th grade. I went to college in Ohio and now I live in Seattle!
- You know how different animals have different group names? Like a gaggle of geese, murder of crows, cackle of hyenas...
- What would a group of you be called?
Ooh, idk, good question. A gust of Sayers?
